Icon Development and Illustration for Crossed Design, a Design Thinking led innovation consultancy. They love working at the intersection of Design, Strategy, and Technology and facilitate clients in using design strategies and thinking skills to create and design innovative products and meaningful experiences and services.

The team required a set of seamless vector icons that could depict the 4 stages of an innovation journey - Idea, Strategy, Product, and Experience. For the illustrations, I sought inspiration from the simplest of things from sushi to pinwheels to create the visual narrative of layering and transformation. Approaching the illustrations with the fun elements, I started with a series of abstract sketches, conformed with a palette of the brand's statement colours.
